Style File: Vanessa Hudgens

So here is the second Style File request, I have to say that Vanessa Hudgens is stunning and I love her laid back style it makes her all the more gorgeous. I think Vanessa Hudgens has great dressed down street style, but can just as easily glam it up for the red carpet. 

She is a big fan of Wildfox, and they have their new collection in so check it out for instance Vanessa style. Think festival, long hot summer nights, relaxed drinks on the beach  and keep it simple with a statement pair of sandals, a floppy hat and wave hair.

So I hope you all have a great Friday, I actual forgot that it was the royal wedding for like a minute before 200 adverts reminded me hahaha. That's the horrid truth that we were excited, but the media has sucked the life out of it I still wish them the best but I won't be watching. I will be posting some outfits soon, with other things I know it's been a little slow at the moment. Yesterday blogger was playing up so it's slowing down my posts, anyway hello to my lovely new readers I have a surprise coming soon so watch this space. Style File: Katy Perry

I know, I know this is late I'm sorry been out enjoying the sunshine and spending time with the Baz (my bloke) and our little monster Corben. Now we all have got colds, for some unknown reason anyway ....By request I have two Style Files this week, this is the first which actual took ages as Katy Perry style has really changed a lot. She dresses a lot more sexy now and even her kooky side has geared towards latex, than wearing doughnuts on her head. I do love Katy Perry I think she will always take a chance, I love her full on kooky look back when she first started out with her playsuits etc.

I also adore her stage outfits, I would love to dress like this everyday but 1. Don't have the body for it and 2. would be committed if I walked down the street in the latex dresses. Hope you enjoy and the next Style File will be with you shortly. Enjoy x

So I got a lovely email off a guy after the fly printed Converse, his girlfriend had seen them ages ago and didn't get them (which like all us girl's she regretted later). So he wanted to get them for her birthday, and the closes he came to finding them was my post from ages ago. Like him we all have searched the Internet for hours, days and weeks to hunt things down. So he asked if I could help in his search, sadly I failed to but I did give him the idea of D.I.Y a pair with a stencil. So here are the photos for you dude, I really hope that it works out and I'm sure your girlfriend will love them. His girlfriend is an artist and features flies in her art work, he is going to send me a picture of the finished work.

I loved this I'm so glad that my blog connects me in little ways to people (some are not always nice, but screw them). Anyway I am a huge, huge fan of converse and I think everyone should have a pair (or be inspired to spice up your own trainers).

Candles, Crafts, Gifts Oh My

Hey well it's been a busy week already, I won SaraLuxe giveaway ( whoop whoop) and have been making YouTube videos, than the lovely peeps of Candles Crafts Gifts sent me some of their candles to try out, I hadn't heard of them before so I went to have a look on their site. I full in love with their candle holders, I do like candles but I love the holders more (I know I'm a freak). They have a wide price range to, so if your looking for something funky to add to your summer interiors than this is a great idea I only have to look at a Moroccon style anything! And I feel like summer is here.

They make the candles by hand (in Norfolk) which is great and the ones I received where soy wax, I got a Lemon one and Scottish Heather ' Soy Wax is environmentally friendly as it comes from a sustainable source, it burns longer than parafin wax and burns with 90% less soot ' 

So the first thing I did was give them a huge smell, they smelt divine (I actual wanted to eat the lemon one). The big ones comes in a tin like my Lemon one, and I liked the clear and simple label so if you were giving it to someone they could easily find the website. I really love tin candles as I always reuse the tin too, so great for you eco shoppers. Like they say on the site the soy wax does burn for longer, I had the candle burning for a good 3 hours and it it's only half way down (with parafin wax it would be gone) so there is still a heap of life in my Lemon one and the smaller one to. The only thing that let me down was that the smell was not strong at all, I kept waiting for the ice cream smell of lemon to full the room and it never. So I think if you are really into smelly candles than I'm not sure this is going to be for you, I personal use candles with or without smell. I like to have them burning while in the bath, I find it relaxing and some candles are just too scented it can be hard to get the balance. Maybe it's the soy or something because when you smell the candle in the tin, it's just amazing.

I think most people will want a huge, over powering scent and this didn't have it but for a long lasting candle its really great. Like I say the packaging is eco friendly and maybe in other scents they  may work better the site also has a heap more so well worth a look.

D.I.Y Day 1# American Flag Shorts

Old Jean: New Look

So after lusting after everyone Topshop American Flag short's I decided to try making my own, I will be making another pair soon (another tutorial for those too). I know that a heap of you love making things and really loved the shorts too, so I hope my videos and photos help you in making yours. This D.I.Y is a paint one, but the next one will be different (and even easier).

Things you will need:

• Acrylic Paint 
• Scissors
• Plastic table cloth
• Paint brush
• Old postcard (or star Stencil)
• Jeans (unloved ones are perfect give them new life)
• Cup of water (this is if you would like the paint to look more worn)

So here are my videos one is stupidly short and the other is long (still getting use to Youtube) and photos of the end result. I really hope this well help you and that you will just give it ago, they are not perfect but they cost me nothing (I had all the stuff already, plus I saved a pair of jeans I would have throw). I had fun making them, and the videos I think on my next D.I.Y I will set up stuff more as my camera failed.     Hello to my new readers, I hope you are enjoying the randomness I can't believe the weekend is over already I hope you had a good one. I will be starting some new D.I.Ys on the weekend, I have to fit them in when I get some free time (which is hardly ever). Anyway let me know what you think, I know these are a bit crappy but it's great fun ( to be honest I wear a lot of rubbish anyway so no different there).

Style File: Gossip Girl Blair Waldorf

Hello this was requested by the lovely Emma (from Scrapbook de la Emma), I think that Blair's style is similar to Summer so have a look. I do love Blair Waldorf style, she always has a very sharp look that like her words is always straight to the point. I have kept the looks simple, as Blair Waldorf does not go to over board (like me) I think a great way to get her look is the tights. Blair makes sure she always has a patterned pair of tights with most outfits, it breaks up the colour and sometimes her clash of patterns. She loves heels and always has lust worth shoes, her look is preppy but far from polo shirts she loves patterned dresses, as well as block colour too. I think you can get her look on a budget,  she wears a lot of pencil skirts and prom style skirts (team with a short sleeved shirt or blouse).

Have a look at ASOS, H&M and River Island they have some great pieces in and also have a lot in the sales. So I'm sure you could have a Blair style wardrobe in no time, I love Gossip Girl have you been watching it? Who's do you love/hate? I have a little crush on Chuck and Nate is pretty hot too.

I Need That, That And That # 3 Beauty UK

Eye palettes in Soho Bright & Glitz

I first found Beauty Uk in Superdrug and had no idea they were online, yes me the online junkie not knowing they have a site!! Anyway it all started with their lime green nail polish, everyone kept asking me where I got it, I think they were shocked when I told them it cost me less than £5. So  after seeing them on twitter I thought I recalled the name, I followed the link and had thee biggest smile on my face, my Superdrug does not have the full range.

So I thought I would share this info with you, as I know you all love a bargin. They even have a blog on the site I love their youtube videos so have chosen two too share. I also have one of their lipsticks, and it's really nice great for if you want a treat but don't have a much money. I want all their eye palettes, they have now started doing baked eye shadow too.

There price range is so good you can get an eye palette for £3.99, and my lime nail polish was only £1.99. I think it's great for if your just getting into makeup, as there is lots to play with when I get one of the eye palette's I will review it and let you know. The lippy and nail polish get's a 9/10 for me such great value and just as good as any big brand. 

I though you would like the Jesse J make up look and the Kesha one too (would be nice for a night out) let me know if you try these out. I love Kesha for her glam rock trash style and Jesse J always has amazing makeup, loved her studded lips in her video.
