How I Wear: Frilly Jeans

I've been out enjoying the sun while it lasts, also before the half term madness begins. I love my boys to bits, but you need a whole lot of energy to keep them busy not to mention money. I try to keep a balance of treat days and than lower cost days. Museums and parks are going to be my best friends this week. But the house has been stocked up with ice cream and sweets, colouring books and those spinner things so I think it should be a great week. I also did a clothing shop for all their summer stuff, so that I can relax more on the bigger one to come (yep six weeks holidays). Outfit wise I'm keeping it more casual, it's been great not to have to wear a jacket. I do love all my faux fur for colder days, but sometimes it's great to have a break from them.

Rainbow Polo neck: Monki (current)
Frilly jeans: Very
My little pony bag: Gift
Red shoes: Topshop (old)
Cowboy belt: River Island (old)

I absolutely love these jeans, so much so I actual have two pairs of them. They were from the Very sale, and they are just so comfortable. As I'm short, it's hard to find jeans that hit me in the right place the short girl cool jean struggle. How cute is My little pony bag, I know it's for kids, but honestly I don't care. Barry and the boys got me it and some other bits for Mothers day and I love it. Yes I can't get much in it, but it's great for lighter days when I don't need to carry around a mini supermarket in my bag.

I know it's warm but I still love my polo necks heat or not, I got this one from Monki they have a bunch of other cute rainbow tops at the moment and frilly t-shirts which I plan on buying next month. I've had these Topshop shoes for years, but don't wear them a lot. I'm forever going over my wardrobe to reduce it, so in another clear out I found them. I use to love dressing up in a pin up style, but that's not really me anymore. I still love the detail on them, and as red goes with everything I'll wear them to death. I also found my old cowboy belt, circa Madonna in her all American girl phase 2000 something. I love how everything has come back around, and because I hoard I've not had to buy much. Saying that I've seen SO many nice things but I'm trying to be strong and save my money for the kids. Do you like the frilly jeans trend?
