The mere mention of Autumn is a little soul destroying to be honest, summer this year has been a mix of wearing rain apparel than receiving a weeks worth of sun in a day. Literally mad, and exhausting. Saying that I personal have always prefer the colder months, I love to layer up and have a warm drink in my hand while going about my day. I feel like I get more done, because I'm not spending tell stressing about what to wear. I'm always excited to see new trends, and feel inspired for the next season.
I absolutely got that from Boohoos new Autumn Winter collection 2016, I even got excited about the khaki pieces which is not like me at all. I prefer bright colourful clothing, but as a faux fur pink stole hang over a rail of earthy greens my heart skipped a beat. A pair of boots with a gold heel, also had me questioning my style for this season.
As I looked around it all felt very grown up, but somehow risky. I really liked that, as lately a lot of brands are bringing out pieces that are solo celebrity based. It can be hard to feel like yourself, and seems that brands want us to be mini clones. This felt more like stumbling into a fashion editors closet, someone who dresses to stand apart.
With both 70s and 90s influence this collection is a winner, if your not into either of these there are still plenty of classes stables to add to your wardrobe. The palettes are really rich, and if you are texture obsessed as I am there are so great statement bags and coats for the season. The collection will start going out from August, so if your still hunting for pieces let me know over on twitter @Law1sfab and I'll help you track them down.
