It may not be Spring just yet, but it's close enough that I've already started planning what to pack away and what to leave out just in case. To encourage me more that I should start jamming away all those heavy knits, were the pieces from Next S/S15 collection. I had just dropped Corben off to school, and jumped on a bus to get to Ham yard hotel. Which not only has the dreamiest interiors, but has the nicest staff - Before I even got to the collection I had a tea in hand and was offered snacks, can I just live here please.
I decided before settling down to anything, I would see what Next was planning to help banish my winter blues. They did not disappoint, the soft knits were a surprise but one you could welcome. There's that time before summer where it's not warm enough to go without a jacket, but too warm for one. So knits to the rescue, chunky colourful and crochet it was a textile dream.
There are a great range of shoes, I really loved a pair of hot pink 70s style platforms, if your after flats there are plenty of minimalist flatforms too. I spied an cute postcard clutch, that could easy pass for designer they are on form with bags at the moment and there is a rainbow of colours to pick from. Also Next are launching a makeup range in March, I loved the lipstick range there was a pink one that I think will be a must have. If your lucky enough to be jetting off on holiday, than you need to take a look at their swimwear range, lemons, melons and neon tassel's will keep you looking sassy poolside.
What do you think of the collection? Are you excited for their makeup range? Would love to hear your view.
