Street Style: London Fashion Week A/W 14

In true London style the first day of fashion week was met with rain, wind and more rain. So for those brave enough to walk the cobbles, I took photos of the outfits that stood out the most which is not easy when your battling against wind, rain and a sea of umbrellas. As it was Valentines, red seemed to be the colour of the day or maybe it just stood out more to me. Pastel blues were also popular, and like me (living for the faux fur) everyone is embracing their inner fluffy monster and wearing chunky collars and multi coloured coats.

I'm glad to see people embracing trainers more also there cobble approve, they can give a tailored outfit some really edgy and grit. The live shows were streamed up on the big screen, so at least while huddled under brolly's we could take in what was in store for Autumn Winter. There is a real mix bag this year, some designers have kept to bright colours and crisp whites carrying through from summer. While other's have gone for relaxed over sized tailoring in dark greens and browns, and big shaggy gilet and coats.

I think it can be hard to process the new trends now, as were not even in summer yet so that's why I enjoy the street style as it's fashion inspiration for now. I attended a show (more about that later this week) but had to call it a day on my others and head home it was just to cold. Considering how much it rained on Friday people still made an effort, and everyone took joy at being at shows not only for the collections but also the warmth. Today was not as bad, everyone seemed in a better mood and I have a heap more to share with you.
