How I Wear: Platform Trainers

Top: Primark (in store now)
Jeans: Charity shop
Rings: Primark
Pom Pom: Claires

Okay so if you didn't know already I happen to be a massive fan of Ashish and Jeremy Scott, I love how fun their collections are not to mention the dry wit that comes in the form of sequin slogan vests and jumpers. However as my bank balance does not share the same love, I only have two options save for a couple of years or find a cheap high street alternative. Lucky for me and any of you that are fans, the high street are finally clicking on quick. Primark had logo goodness practical pouring out the shop front, so I grabbed up all the Coca Cola pieces I could spy.

It was so funny as I overhead a girl looking at them, saying 'god who would wear a top like that you may as well wear a billboard' than looked at me. I stared back and smirked, at her massive bag which happen to be Louis Vitton which had the iconic logo all over it. Clearly she thinks that somehow there's a different, that's what I love about these designers they have turned the whole idea of brand on it's self. I actual think there is a lot of satire with these collections, I could be wrong. If you really look at it we are all billboards for some brand, it's the age of advertising. I love a good cheeky slogan t-shirt, who needs Facebook when you can wear a top that says 'I hate you'.
What do you think, do you like slogan tops?

Also love how you can pull off those jeans...everyone but everyone is still wearing skinnies so its a refreshing change to see some bootcuts!!

  5. Law! I flipping love that tee and you look class in those platforms. I, however would reach the height of approx 6ft 4 so I'll have to bypass the platform kicks :) xxx

  7. I totally agree. We are billboards promoting brands. I remember in the 90s when people would wear t-shirts and jeans with the brand name written all over it and it has crept back in to the fashion scene again. I really do love your shoes. Tempted to buy a pair.
