Tis the season to party, and so out comes the sequins and holograph pony clutch. If it was acceptable I would wear sequin party dresses everyday, but I'm sure my four year old would give me the 'oh mummy' look. This dress has a 60's feel as it has a high neck and the bold strips at the bottom, so natural had to go all Bardot with my hair. I dyed it but missed a heap of hair at the back, lucky for me I had these rainbow (D.I.Y) extensions that I did for fashion week. So to complete my party outfit, I put on my trusty charity shop fluffy coat. This bag is insane, but small so I would bring a big bag and pop it in the cloak room and just keep my phone, card and lippy in this one. To tie more of the holograph goodness, I wore my chunky shoes ( dance floor friendly too).
For me I like a fun, glam outfit but one that I can relax in. Sequins are so in your face that you can keep the rest simple, plus a shift dress is perfect for dancing in and not too sexy for if your at a work party ... Or in my case dancing around the living room to Bowie.

ReplyDeleteCoat is amazing and your hair is just beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI can't get over how incredible your hair looks, you minx! In fact the whole outfit is pretty damn dreamy and is making me want to experiment with colours in my outfit a little more. My usual outfits are so dull and monochrome!
