If there's one thing beehive hair hates it's rain, lucky for me I decided to back comb it like it had to last a decade and it stayed put all day. I use to hate the ideal of back combing my hair, but as it's pretty much damaged as hell anyway I think well why not. I think when you can't afford to kit yourself out with heaps of new clothes, hair styles can really make a difference. In the 40's and 50's hair was literally 'it' as everything was so limited, so victory rolls, waving and pinning were a way to glam it up. As I'm loving everything 60's at the mo, I think my inner Amy Winehouse and Bridget Bardot are screaming to get out. I guess I never really grew out of playing dress up.

I have a lot of posts to write up, I'm in a pretty 'meh' zone which is bad. I still have a nasty cough which I think has made me feel a bit whatever. Do you get like that when your ill? I wish I could be one of those flawless people, the ones were even when their sick they look like they have been on holiday. Apart from feeling sorry for myself, I've been silly this year and left all my Christmas shopping till now! Have you sorted your Christmas shopping yet?

  1. Hope you feel better soon, I always end up with chest infections in the winter, which is total bitch on the bike. As for sickly people looking hot, I was just thinking looking at pics that you look totally freakin gorgeous, so there. I love the purple beehive and your make up is just flawless.
