No the posh pout collection won't given you that famous Victoria Beckham look, lets face it she's the pout queen. It does however promises to give you kissable, hydrated lips all day long. These are vivid lip balms, that come in six shades Big Pinkin, Would I Lilac You, Power to the Purple, How Nude, Corally Incorrect, Sugar Plum Fairy. The claim to intensely moisturising rich and velvety formula is highly pigmented to guarantee strong, long lasting colour. So are they pout worthy or did they leave me feeling like a trout.
Packaging: The packing is pretty, I like their clean but colourful look and it's easy to tell the pouts apart as colours run from product down to the tube. It's also labelled which is good, as same times when your digging around in your bag you will find the right one. Rather than grabbing them all and trying and you have every shade all over your lips. The lid's hold on well, a little too well some times so you have to jiggle them off. Now on to the bottom twist part, I like this idea as it works like lipstick. The only downer is that same times it's twists up too much when applying it. So you have to hold the bottom firmly to stop this from happening.
Product: On first impressions they kind of look like massive crayons, I actual like this as if it's too small it can take a while to put on. It's a good size to glide on and go. On pigment I would say that these are really great, as they are lip balms and not lipsticks. I put one to a day test (Big Pinkin) and was really impressed, applying was pretty easy but you need to be careful at the edges because of it's round tip. My lips didn't dry out and I reapplied after about 3 hours, it stayed on through a few drinks and eating too. Again for a lip balm/lipstick (also on price) I was not excepting it to be this good. Big Pinkin*: Love this colour and will be wearing it a lot more. Girly and Barbie like. Power to the Purple*: Great for a change from a red lip, sexy but subtle. Sugar Plum Fairy*: Like the colour, but doesn't really suit my skin tone. Would be perfect on darker skin.
Overall: These are great for those on a budget, apart from the issue sometimes with the twist part at the bottom I'd give these an 8/10. I really want to try the other three, and I think Big Pinkin will be a new addition to my makeup bag on the go. Colour and moisture, and great for if your after subtle colour rather than a matt lip.
