As you know a while back I went to the A/W press day, and I'm still pinching myself that now we are here already. Usually I don't look forward to Autumn or winter, as it seems outfits get lost and I feel like I should just give up and wear a sleeping bag!
This year has been different, this year every collection I have seen has made me say 'yeah whatever summer'. For me this year is the year of the coat, I have fallen in love with countless different ones from different brand and FF clothing at Tesco has been one of them.
See above, it's not a biker jacket and it's not a plain coat it's a biker coat! Plus it has a texture mix, which is a must for me at the moment. I have been dreaming of this coat since the summer, and it's here it's finally going to be on their site soon.
But it's not just coats, it's all their party wear too, they have a stunning concession called 'Ice Blossom' which has a party dress for every one. I hate when a dress is so pretty, you full in love but it's all wrong in terms of shape.
Clare with an amazing sparkly number.
The outfit I styled
I like when brands host Christmas collection events, as a lot of the time you forget what you have seen during the summer. Saying that, if I get my little fashion heart set on something than I never forget. I had fun styling an outfit with the biker coat, I went for this dress which was a little Wednesday Addams with a cameo necklace and of course I had to add in a cute cardigan- Layering is key for me.
Also they had a massive photo frame that everyone was getting photos in, so me, Florrie, Sherin and Danielle made the most of it by their hats and of course I went for a beard.. naturally. Sarah and Amy were trying on these cool 20s style hats, as they didn't suit me sadly and everyone was getting their lashes done Clare's looked amazing! I'm attending the S/S 2013 soon, so will be sharing that with you all. I'm sure once I've seen the Spring/Summer collection, than I will want to see the back of Autumn/Winter but I have to say I'll be trying to wear all my coats for as long as I can.
Have you seen any pieces you like? How are you staying warm this winter?
Florrie, Sherin, Danellie and me.
Sarah and Amy.
