My Very LookBook A/W 2011

Tights my own.

So here is my Lookbook, I actual love it trust me trying to look even normal is effort at the moment (being 7 months pregnant). A huge thank you again to the Very team, for hair and makeup (making me look glam) I had the best time picking out an outfit at the Christmas Very event. Like I said in my other post, I was surprised that I ended up wearing this Holly Willoughby dress as I'm so fair, I do love polka dots as they are very chic.

Claire got me to double up the polka dots with the cardigan, also another holly number and I knew I had to ask the hair and makeup artists for an Amy Winehouse inspired look. I'm really into big hair and retro makeup, but wearing it to playgroup or food shopping makes you look a tad mad. So as I stood in front of the camera I did feel a little jazz star like, it was great to wear some heels too and these Fearne Cotton California muti strap sandals just give me back my legs.

When the Very team said we could keep something, I knew it had to be these Fearne Cotton shoes, as I don't know what my body will be like after the baby is here. I must say I think this dress is great and would be a winner post baby too, with the gathered layering of the fabric in the front it would hide any wobbly bits. It's great as a winter party dress and it would be a rocking summer dress too, I'm just a sucker for shoes. I think if your a dress gal it's perfect, I live in jeans so I'm looking forward to dressing them up with the strappy platforms sandals.

For any mum's to be, don't be afraid to try a dress this Christmas you can pull off a fitted dress it's all about the texture, cut and fabric so just go for it beehive or not .....
