Beyond Broke

DSC08036

So I'm trying to be good and not buy anything for a while, I think every now and than it's good to have a break see what you have and that. I am trying my new rule of if you don't wear it get rid of it, so now I have started to take a chance and wear things that have been in my wardrobe forever and mix them with my new stuff. Don't worry I didn't fall over and hurt my head,  as even when I'm not spending, I am building up my to buy list in my head I think having no money helps too. That's just me, I like to enjoy life now (I do save where I can).

I just have got to the point where things still have tags on, that's when you have to say right time for a shopping ban. So except lots of wish list posts haha, who am I to deny you of shopping. Also I was chatting with peeps on twitter, and got asked about what you can do with old copies of magazines. Of course you can recycled them, take them into your local doctors, clinics and places (nice to read a good magazine while you wait) or you could D.I.Y.
Now I love Cut Out & Keep, and I'm sorry I did not share it with you sooner. It's  a website full of peoples makes and always a has whole heap of How to's from craft to cooking. I think I'm going to plan some soon and if you have any great ones let me know and I will link in a post to your D.I.Y handy work. So I'm out for pancakes today, so outfit photos plus pancakes to come. Also it's international women's day, I will be doing a post on women who inspire me soon. I did not have time today but I will get around to it. Are you having pancakes today?

  1. I can completely relate when it comes to finding clothes with tags still on -- that reminds me to take it easy and be practical.

  8. Love the button/badge in the picture! :)

I'm on make up detox...not buying anymore make up or skin care products unless I absolutely need them! I'm wanting to move over from Bobbi Brown to Chanel and they have a 10% off day in a local store in May so I think I should have used all of my stuff up by then! Will be hard not to spend anything but like you I will be making a list of new things to buy! =D

  11. Thanks for the mention hun! I think I might jump on the spending ban bandwagon as well. Winning the giveaway at least means you get some new make-up without having to spend anything! Hope you like it all! xx
