Home Is Where You Sleep Off The Hangover

So I know a lot of you have had to leave home and head to uni, it can be hard to be in a place that not only has limited space. That you also may have to share, that maybe has no warmth to it and just feels more like a cell than a home. I was lucky to be able to stay at home and study, but if I had not been I would have been clicking H&M home and also Tesco have a heap of stuff that is student friendly. I was on the H&M site the other day and I just love there home ware range, some is still a bit pricey for every student but sometimes its new to buy things that you will take with you when you leave.

I know some of you are finding it hard, so I put together these just for you I was thinking fun, tidy and cosy. I'm not saying go spend a forture, maybe check out Primark  or the local shops this is more to inspire you to make it your own. So the Tesco one has some must have things, bit of storage, alarm clock and of course a phone. The H&M ones are bathroom, living area, bedroom of cousre this does depend how much space you have to work with these are just ideas.Yes it maybe a box, but it's my box.

I hope this has maybe inspired you or helped you in anyway, if it depressed you more about not being at home I'm sorry. Maybe just make a tea pour a little gin in and watch a good movie. Thank you for all your comments and feedback, if you want me to do more of these just ask, I can do some guy friendly ones too.

  2. Lovely products - things have changed since I was at uni. I remember getting a duvet cover from Macro before I went (classy) and all my kitchen stuff was second hand. I decorated my room in halls with yards of muslin draped everywhere, before moving onto the Indian wall hangings in my shared house!

Thanks for your lovely comments on my blog - I'm definitely going to try out some Lush stuff soon, so will use your post as a guide, as some of it looks really tempting! x

  3. Totally inspired! I never even realised H&M did homeware - how did I not know this?? Will be checking it out ASAP. The polka dot towels and duvet covers have really caught my eye. Good find!

This looks great! Such a sweet post too to help out some of the bloggers who are struggling with moving away. Its true that new things can sometimes take away the worries or sadness about moving away.
