L'Oreal Super Liner Blackbuster

You may have seen by now that there's hardly a day that goes by that I don't wear eye liner. Sadly I'm not one of those people to look okay without it, as I have such straight eyelashes and so my eyes tend to just blend into my face. As I like to get my makeup done quickly, I'm always on the hunt for an effective eye liner that is easy to apply and is hard wearing. There is noting worse than getting your liner spot on, only to find that once you start to sweat it transfers to your eyelid and look like you have applied it in the dark with your finger. Also as anyone who has ever, ever worn eyeliner knows trying to get those flicks to match can drive you mad. So you go back over it and than the inner part no longer matches, and after what seems like a decade you literally have an eyelid covered in liner which is great when your running late . I prefer pens to gel eye liner, as I find gel tricky. I wasn't sure I would like the L'Oreal Super Liner Blackbuster*, as I tend to go for thinner liners as you can build them and create a crisper line.

Saying this once I starting using it last week, I was shocked with a few strokes I was done. I tend to like a chunky thick line, and the product flows out nicely  so I create it without having to trace it over again and again. The inner corner was a little more tricky, but it really helps to move the pen into different positions. Holding it more directly for smaller liners, and angling it was a thicker line. It's a little drier than other liners I have used, but I found this helped as I've had some that seem to leak product and ended up with panda eye. It lasts for a good six to seven hours without needing a top up. To be honest that's enough for me, but if you were out in the evening a quick sweep across would sharpen it up again. The packaging is simple and the lid snaps down to keep the liner from drying out, and it fits nicely into my makeup bag. Taking it off is pretty easy too, so you avoid having to overly rub your eye area. This liner is available from Chemist Direct for £6.99 (currently on offer 3 for 2 on all L'Oreal products).
