Pixi: Beauty Blush Purest Pink

I do love blush, sometimes a little too much and have to powder down my clown cheeks (not a good look) so it's nice to find a blush that's more natural looking. This has been out for a while now, but it's still my go to for when I need to put on my makeup in a hurry as it's subtle and blends out well so I wanted to share my thoughts with you.  The photos above show it all new, I'm glad I took a before so I could show you the pixie that's on the blush sadly she is long gone as you can see below. The blush has a slight shimmer, but it's not to dramatic. The bushes come in four shades, this one is purest pink it's so pretty and blends out nicely for a natural look. I think you could easily find one perfect for your skin tone, I swatched the others in store and they all have a clean subtle finish (no clowns here).

As you can see I use this daily I'm almost hitting pan, I always use my Zoeva brush 102 Silk Finish to apply. I build some colour on the brush, tap off excess and swipe it across. Than blend it out if needed.

The blush is talc free, and they have infused it with rosehip extract for a vitamin boost & honeysuckle flower extract for its powerful anti-inflammatory properties. Which is great for anyone like me, who tends to get the odd spots around their cheek areas. If I don't wear blusher I end up looking ill, so it's great to wear one that won't irritate my skin and possible give me even more spots. It's pretty long wearing, and I find I don't really have to top it up at all.

I would recommend this shade for everyday makeup, if you just want a really subtle glow it's perfect for paler skin. Maybe try the Perkiest pink, for a more rosy summer glow. The packaging is simple but effective, as others have always broken when I've had them in my travel bag. It fits nicely into my makeup bag, and doesn't take up hardly any room. So if you have to travel with makeup, this would be a good blusher to bring. It's simple but it's my go to every morning, and even when I'm half asleep it opens easily and applies well even with a quick swish of my blusher brush.

Available to buy in store and online, Purest Pink* is priced at £12.00 4.5g/0.16oz

    1. It's such a lovely subtle shade, oh I do have to hold my hands up I've used some softening on my skin and photoshopped some of my spots (only ones that were really noticeable). I try not to retouch as of course when your writing a beauty review. But it has not effected the colour or strength of the blush. Just made my skin easier on the eye haha. xxx

    1. It really is, next time I see you if I have it on me I'll swatch it so you can see it IRl. The shimmer is just right, and gives your skin a natural glow rather than over powering your face. xxx
