Clarks Autumn/Winter 2014 collection

While we have not even had our summer yet, I probably should not get as excited to see what's to come for winter (my bad, feel free to hate me). I had good reason too, Clarks have done it again for the colder season and yes I shed a tear of joy at a pair of taupe leather wedge boots. I'm always saying I won't buy any more shoes or boots, but clearly I'm lying as I have already made a list of the many amazing pairs I've seen for this a/w.

This said I tend to keep my shoes and wear them till they fall apart, but I think Clarks is one of those shoe brands were it will be near impossible to wear them out. They still have that classic stamp, but there are a lot of modern looks and textures throw in from looks we have seen on the catwalk. Me, Marsha and Marina worked our way around the collections. Clarks had named each collection after London street names, I think Brick Lane was the most me a little edgier and had a really mod vibe.  The shoes were on little orange swings and had a mix of loafers (which I plan on trying as I'm warming up to them) and wedged boots.

I know most of you will be excited to know that Orla Kiely has teamed up with Clarks again, to bring you another cute retro range drawing inspiration from the 60s and 70s to create a capsule collection of six styles. Brogues and Chelsea boots were in full force, but like I said with multicoloured weaves and mix leathers it makes for a great refresh on the every day classics. The heeled brogues caught my eye being a short gal. I think they would be a perfect work wear shoe but also for dressing up a casual Brenton top and jeans combo on a weekend. Chelsea boots come in rich berry colours and are a mixture of leather and suede, and you could wear these with anything so worth every penny.

I really liked the bags, my pick was a black studded bucket bag with tassel's which would go perfectly with the ankle black biker boots. If you prefer more girly, there are dolly shoes and glitter heels and flats. A pair of peep toe boots with an open back (in black and brown), that I think will be the 'blogger must have' there is always one and I spied everyone let out a sigh of I want you know as they held them (me included).

The whole collection goes live in June and will be available in store and online, if your after shoes to wear now than have a look at their spring summer collection here.
