The Smock Dress & Jeans

I was going to do a 'how to' post, maybe I will do one next week of taking one classic piece and wearing (styling it) three different ways, as I love reading those myself and they are fun I like dressing up. Yesterday I wore my smock dress as more of a blouse, you can see it as a dress in my 'Never land' post. I use to play with clothing a lot more before the kids, so I want to get back into making more effort and seeing how many different ways I can wear certain pieces. This is also partly because next year, I'm planning on down sizing my wardrobe, and going for a more grown up style with a dash of kooky edge throw in.

Jeans: Primark
Biker waistcoat: Clothing at Tesco*
Wedges, necklace and bracelet: eBay
Clutch: Matalan*

I really like this smock dress as a blouse, I tucked it into my high waisted jeans but let it hang more at the back to avoid a bumpy bum. I think my head is already in autumn already, as the weather was hot but I still wanted to wear my D.I.Y studded biker waistcoat and clutch. I have a few new pieces in my wardrobe that I'm dying to wear, I have been trying to avoid buying any summer wear and focusing my sights on A/W pieces. I think being pregnant last year, has made me want to party dress it up this season as I was living in leggings and oversized jumpers.

Thanks for your tweets wishing me well, feeling a lot more human. Oh don't forget to enter my giveaways, one is for a £40 goodie bag and the other is for a $100 voucher. Hope you all had a fab weekend.
