SOS Savers 1# Skin

I wanted to start some new features on the blog again, so I thought I would start with products I'm using so that will include haircare, skincare and makeup also with some tips throw in. So the first SOS Saver is for Skin, these are my current lifesavers:
Witch BB Cream * £6.99, Clean and Clear morning energy £3.99, Witch skin primer * £6.00

  • Witch BB Beauty Balm: As some of you know I'm part of the flawless friends at Witch, so I was so excited to try this as I do love BB cream. This BB beauty balm comes in a box which is okay but I don't think it's really needed, as the tube it's in is a good size and is tough - I'm guessing it's to put all the product information on.

The product: I really took to this quick, the texture is smooth and like other BB creams it's an all rounder. It did even out my skin tone, and make my skin feel a tad more plump, of cousre it has the witch hazel in (so it's fighting my nasty spots too) and it has SPF 15 in. I think this work's well in the summer as I don't like my makeup feeling caked on. I noticed that it covered spots well, but my freckles come through more than when I wear foundation which I actual prefer. It looks very natural on and was easy to remove at the end of the day.

It had a glow to it too, and stayed put during the day - I would top it up in the evening if I were to go out as it's not as heavy as a foundation. This was suited to my skin tone, but I don't know how it would fair on others and if Witch plan on bringing out different shades like some of their other makeup products. I know that BB cream is meant to be lighter, but this may look odd on a darker skin tone. I will update this with more information.  Witch's BB Cream retails for £6.99/50ml and is available from Superdrug
 stores.

  • Clean and Clear Morning Energy: My skin had been looking really dull after the long winter, and so I wanted a product to refresh it for spring/summer. This is actual my third bottle of this product, I'm addicted I don't use it every day just when my skin needs a boost. It's in a pump bottle, which I love when your half asleep in the morning it's easy to use (also less waste).
The Product: Morning Energy is a skin brightening daily facial wash, like I said I personal don't use it everyday as my skin would dry out due to the lemon. I do like that you only need a small amount, and that the bursting beads give you a mild scrub (really gentle). It has a citrus scent to wake you up, not sure it wakes me up but it does have a nice fresh zesty smell to it. It has a slight shimmer and is rather thick in texture.

This is perfect for if you have forgotten to take your makeup off the night before, and because it's thick it lifts all the grim away. It has lemon and papaya extract in, but it would be nice to know just how much extract you get in the bottle. Clean and Clear Morning energy, retails for £3.99/150ml and is  also available from Superdrug stores.

  • Witch Skin Cleaning Primer: Like I said before in this review here, I adore this product! After trying a fair amount of primers this was one of the best, it's great because again it's anti blemish with the witch hazel and also france free and oil free. It's thick in texture and you can instantly feel and see the different. Have a read of my review as I reviewed this and Witch's makeup line. Witch Skin Clearing Primer is priced from £6/30ml it's a little tricky to track down but here is a list of online stores you can purchase it from.

  8. Hello there, great post! I had no idea either that Witch did BB cream or Primer - I may well have to try out the BB cream, it sounds great. I currently use the Garnier one (but only because I didn't know of any others). But I do use the Witch blemish stick and I love it! x
