Keyboard Handbag Tacky Or Geek Chic ?

When you think of the perfect bag for a blogger, what do you see in your head do you think of bright colours and something totally chic. Well throw out any ideas in your head, because this has to be the bag of the blogger but don't go smashing up your keyboard just yet, designed by Portuguese artist Joao Sabino the keyboard handbag is such a crazy but effective idea. Constructed from 393 individual keyboard keys, this is like a piece of art on your arm too.I have to say I really want the pink one, yes I'm such a girl. It's a tad pricey at £116 ! Yes, but I'm sure soon someone will produce an 'inspired version' I can only hope this one comes in 4 different colours. It has been around for a few years now, but I wanted to share it as I do think it's cool and anything that reuses things is okay in my book (keep it green people). 

So maybe it's time to get busy with the D.I.Y, so if you see your mate smashing up her keyboard she hasn't gone mad (well we hope). She is just trying to recreate this cool bag, I would love to see a 'how to' if anyone does this please share and I will post a link (with credit to you). I love the geek chic feel to them, and I'm sure when I have more time and had a good think about a good way of putting it together without a button falling off I will try a 'how to' of my own.
