Lush Toothy Tabs Review

I got these as part of my goodie bag when I attend the London Blogger meet, as you know I once worked for Lush so I have tried almost everything. So it was great to see a product that I have never really thought about using, I had seen Toothy tabs in Lush a few times and know that they are an alternative to toothpaste on the market ( and vegan friendly). Sparkle are the Vanilla ones, I'm not a huge fan of Vanilla but it's not like I'm making a meal from them their to get your teeth pearly. They also contain lemon which will natural brighten and grapefruit and black pepper. They are priced at £2.50 for 12g (40 items)

Information on how to use them:
1. Pop a Toothy Tab into your mouth.2. Crunch it up.3. Start brushing with a wet toothbrush.4. Brush your toofy pegs with the foam.5. Do it for a good 3 minutes to get them extra clean.6. Rinse your mouth out.7. Et voila. Clean gnashers, a big cheesy grin and fresh breath! ..........................

The Result:
The main taste is the black pepper which makes your mouth feel warm, it's not a burst of flavour like with a tubed toothpaste so it didn't feel like it was working. However it did clean them, yes not a hollywood smile but they were clean I couldn't really taste the vanilla.

I like the packaging and that you only need one tab per brush, I also love that I can recycle the packaging after because I do hate the amount of packing that you get with some toothpaste. I found that I didn't have to rinse as much as it foams well but not on the level of toothpaste from a tube (festival friendly)
I think the idea is a great one and it's perfect for vegans, as they have the piece of mind that it's natural unlike other toothpastes anyway .....

So I have been using these for a few days and no matter how much I try I can't get use to them, I think it's more of a mental thing of using toothpaste from a tube. I will say that these would be perfect for camping/festivals and traveling, as they won't cause a mess and are small they fit nicely into a travel pack. So they won't be replacing my everyday toothpaste but I will have some handle for any trips as they are perfect (knowing that your clothing will be toothpaste free when you go away).

Rating 7/10

I also got a Twilight which I love (never seen the film) it's great for stress which lets face it is EVERYONE haha and I feel it has a kind of warm and spicy smell and It's Raining Men which I could eat it's a great body wash (shower gel) for if you have dry skin which mine is as it leaves it smelling like a tub of honey and soft (watch out for bears if you go for a picnic). I've had these both before so was happy to have them again, always nice to get a fave. If you have never had a Twilight they fizz slowly and are perfect for stress as they are like the old hot java and warm all your aches (plus there is a little bit of glitter in them). 8/10

This get's 10/10 for me, it's honey so good for winter dry skin which lets face it everyone will get it smells amazing. I just love it and wish I had a life time supple, it's great to use if your pregnant to as it will give added moisture to your bump and leave you feeling like a real yummy mummy.

  1. For some reason I thought they were an alternative to toothpaste and brush incase you were in public and needed to clean your teeth. Not sure I will try them as I would probably rather save my money and use a drugstore toothpaste.

  9. I have noticed my teeth getting whiter on them. I think they might have baking soda or bicarbonate in them. They are very slightly abrasive too. I have the dirty ones, slightly minty, but I want to work my way through them all.
