Inside The Fitting Room

So as you know if you follow me on twitter I went shopping, I was over the West end with out trouble otherwise know as my one yr old son. So hands free I snapped windows for you lovely lot (in my next post) and I also recalled you lot asking to see clothing. So many shops are funny about you taking pictures, so I took what I could and plus it was a warm day.

So I did not want to be stuck in a sweaty fitting rooms trying on clothing, that I could not afford and smelling peoples feet. So Topshop has a lot of nice stuff and there A/W collections are just so flexible, every time I saw something I could imagine it with ten things I already own.So take a look at my five fab finds that will be on your 'TO DO' lists:

Five FAB Finds

So I had to take these in the mirror sorry, as I was on my own. This is the CURVE SEQUIN SHIFT DRESS  that I feature in my dresses post, I love this dress it is not heavy to wear unlike a lot of sequinned dresses. I think this would be a great dress for parties teamed with heels and for day wear I think pumps or boots look good. It zips up at the back so it is easy to put on and take off, it's not clingy but you need to look after it as you could damage the sequins. I think it is a great 60's inspired shift dress.

This is the CRYSTAL VELVET TUNIC DRESS it is super cute, but like the sequin dress very pricey. I think these are dresses that are investment pieces, this dress has a great vintage feel. The velvet is on trend and it has the peter pan collar (very Alexa chung)so I had to try it. I love the detail that is on the cuff's and bottom as well as the collar, the only thing I did not like with this dress was that the arms were a little tight underneath.

I don't know the name of this dress as I could not find it online, it was priced at £40 and when I saw it I thought of  LLYMLRS. So sorry I have no link for this dress people (and the lovely Lilly from LLYMLRS) but I'm sure you will find it in store. I think this was thee best one, someone run over to me when I was going to the fitting room saying ' where did you find that? Could you should me?' see still help people either if I no longer work for TS. So about this dress, it has a velvet collar and I just LOVE it, it made me feel like Alice in wonderland .....BUY IT if you can.

This skirt is the LEATHER A-LINE SKIRT it is a lot lighter in real life, but it is really nice I think it would be a great staple in your wardrobe and if they still have it next month than I am going to get the grey one. It is great for girls with hips as it is flattering and comes in at the waist more so pear shape girls get one.

This was the last thing I tried on (the shorts are mine I wore them under my dress).
This is the FLOATY CAPE BLOUSE it is so pretty and light, a little see through but because of the layered cape it does not show your bra. Again I think it will be a perfect staple to take you from winter into summer 2011. It is great for work and play, you can dress it up for a night out or just through it on with jeans. I want one badly, another thing for next moths list. So I hope you enjoyed my picks and here is what I wore that day, this dress is from my friend in Oz she got it in a vintage store. I love it, it is really pretty and girly I roughed it up a bit with my studded cuff and knitted beanie for a grunge look. I was in a Courtney Love kinda mood.

Dress: Gift vintage oz

  8. I really love these dresses! Such great finds, like you said, I can picture wearing them in so many ways and they would go with everything. Oh and the leather skirt is love! Just what I've been looking for, however I may have to look elsewhere as just one of the dresses is £95. My bank balance would not be best pleased.
