I picked these little pumpkins up from ASDA, but you could easily glitter up a pumpkin decoration you already have.
I absolutely love Halloween, however some times the shops can bring out the same old decorations every year. Everyone has there own way of doing Halloween, if you like tacky, creepy, scare, silly or glam the choice is yours. This year I've seen a lot more people going glam this year, so I though I would share some how to that I'm going to trying this year. Think gold, think pastels and Halloween can become a pretty cute and stylish affair. These videos featured a whole bunch of inspiration, and most of all they won't break the bank. I think it's better to have decorations your going to bring out each year, then a bunch of stuff that your going to buy use once and throw away. So maybe give the decorations from last year a little love.
Pastel grave stones| Hermione Chantal click here to watch
So you may already know Hermione, I also featured her channel on my 5 You Tuber to follow earlier this week. I love her videos as they are very clear and her latest Halloween how to did not disappoint. She also shows a couple of other mini makes, to jazz up your Halloween this year. They are budget friendly and look epic. I'm adoring the pastel goth vibes. I think these grave stones would look great for a party and they take no time at all.
Marble skull | Amanda Rachel Lee click here to watch
In my search for more grow up vibes this year, I stumble across an older video by Amanda. In the video she makes a very basic skull decoration into a marbled skull and again it's easy to follow and pretty cheap to make. I also love her crescent moon pumpkin. This is a bit more classic if your not into gold, but worth giving a go maybe revamp some old skull decorations you already have.
I absolute adore the stacked skulls and would probably have this in my house all year long, I love a skull. these are all so super simple and will add a little Halloween glam to any room. Rachel has 6 DIYs altogether so if if you have frames and things already this would be a great way to revamp them.
Mini Haunted houses | Lauryn Gardner click here to watch
Lauryn actual made 8 projects, and I love the pops of pink and sequins. What I liked the most were her mini haunted houses collection. This is a great D.I.Y for up cycling pieces you already have, or if you have could easily thrift. I also love her display at the start of the video, and it's made me what to up my Halloween game this year.
So I hope these give you some inspiration this year, and if you can't find what you like in the shops you can make it and it doesn't have to cost you a fortune. I love a good tester pot of paint and some pound/ dollar store pieces for Halloween decorations that will look good up for the whole of October. Will you be trying any of these I would love to know?
