Mum's The Word

It's mother's day, and whoever your 'mother' is or was it's nice to treat them if they are here and think of them if they sadly are not. Today I planed on treating my mum, I was going to take her out for a meal but I feel so ill. When I'm feeling better, than we will have to go some place nice. We have been through a lot together and I'm glad my mum is staying well (she has bi polar) and we have time together. My mum inspires me, with the help of my grandparents she raised me by herself. I'll never know how she did, I have so much respect for single parents who are raising their kids well.

I struggle and I have Barry, who's a great dad I feel like I look like the bad parent next to him. Children have so much energy, and just want your attention all the time. It's important to keep a balance, time for them and time for you. If you have no time for yourself, you end up drained and a drained mum is no fun. Today I got a massive bunny cookie from my boys,  and a card that Corben my three year old draw me it's taken pride of place on the book case. Also Missguided bless them, sent me some bits so I have something nice to wear today. I think they must have read my yoghurt related attacks on my clothing, thanks too my darlings. So it's great to put on a yoghurt free outfit. As I'm too ill to go any where I though I would show you want I would have worn. I had two outfits planned, as I tend to do that.
Outfit 1: Blazer: Zara via Charity shop
Necklace: Topshop
Bag: (old) Primark
Outfit 2: Orange Beanie: eBay
Necklace: eBay

To all the mum's -By that I mean any women who has raised child birth mother or not, Happy Mothers Day.  I'll also be thinking of my friends that have lose a child and those that have lost their mother. I hope you spend this day, thinking of the good times together. I think maybe instead of a 'mothers' day or 'fathers' day we should have a parents day. I think it's easy to forget that family life is different for everyone, anyway who ever you consider as your mother, I hope she/he has a magic day.
