National Anthem

I really love this Sheinside shirt, I have been wearing shirts so much lately they instantly dress up jeans or a skirt. This one has a really pretty lace detail, oh I do like a texture mix. It's a light denim so I can mix it with my jeans, without looking like some tragic 80's reject it's a fine line with double denim. I really think I should have gone for a beehive with my hair, as this has a late 60's early 70's edgy.

My hair is just annoying me at the moment, I'm sure you know the feeling flicking through a magazine for a little inspiration -Top knot, nope that just looks like a birds nest or maybe plait it for a beach look, I look five. So after brushing it to death, wasting another half an hour messing around looking like a deranged hairdresser I give up. Crap frizz ball it is than, pass me a hat!

Shirt: Sheinside*
Skirt: Charity shop
Boots: Primark (old)
Necklace & Ring: eBay
Braclets: eBay (spike one) and the other my uncle made.

Hair woes aside I'm feeling so much better than I was, I'm taking vitamins which I'm not sure actual do anything- In my head they will transform me into Emma stone. Anyway my Sheinside giveaway has ended, so I though I would hit random.org and announce the winner....... which was number 12 'Raffle Bizarre' congrats, so thank you to all who entered and just to let you know I'm having another giveaway soon! If your in the U.K you can enter the £40 swimwear 365 goodie bag giveaway.

I think everyone has enjoyed the olympics, I watched the closing ceremony which was pretty impressive. I think the it was a little cheesy, but I think we all enjoy it every now and than. Plus we won! We never win anything, were like that kid at school who's always being told off and getting other kids to swear and smoke. This time we were up there, the nation became like proud parents! I love these Coco Cola bottle designs, I think I will get a few more before there gone. I'm actual a little sad it's all over, which is weird because at first I was like 'whatever'.

Did you watch? Glad it's over or will you miss all the events?

  1. That shirt looks so lovely on you!! I am SO excited to be the giveaway winner, I've wanted to order things from Shineside for so long but just don't have the money so I know exactly what I'm going to get when they send me my voucher!

That studded bracelet you're wearing is actually one of the things in my basket! :D

  2. I'm going to be really controversial here but have you considered chopping off a few inches of hair? To pocket level on that shirt? Would that pain you terribly?

I speak as someone who bleaches her hair a LOT.

    1. Not at all, glad you are honest. I have been thinking about it. I think I'll grow it out a little first than go get a real hair cut ....rather than me doing it hahaha. Yeah I think it was stripping my hair and bleaching that has just killed it. Thanks again

my hair is going through the same probblems as yours- I cant help but look at those messy top knots and think 'do they not love their hair' and its just too short for almost anything else

    1. aww hair woes, I think you could rock the double denim plus you don't have to wear it. I think most people look great as long as the shades are different, I think that's the trick x

  10. Your hair looks lovely, I wouldn't worry! I sympathise though - I'm currently in the middle of growing my fringe out (because I kept being mistaken for a 16 year old - I'm 24!) and it's at that awkward in betweeny stage and is driving me mad! Love the spikey stuff x

  12. Loving your gorgeous gold spike jewellery, very nice. I wasn't too fussed about the Olympics in the beginning but it's odd to have normal TV etc back - it feels like something's missing!
