As you may know I attended the Dune a/w press day, it's the first time I had been to one of their press days but I have always loved their style. I don't think I can every pass their window displays, without stopping and thinking 'I need those in my life'. I think the main style to be wearing this autumn will be an ankle boot, they had a great selection in a lot of different styles and I couldn't wait to get snapping to show you all.
So A/W think Chelsea boots, cowboy boots and a bit above the ankle biker boots, which all have a little detail from gold toe caps to studs. There are long boots to but I think it's all about the shorter boot- It's perfect as it makes even us shorter girls look like we have longer legs.
If your not into boots than fear not, they were court shoes ablaze with studs and gold block heels. I think these would be great if your working in an office, I can image sometimes it's hard to work the trends if you can only wear certain things. At leaf this way you can wear a little leopard print or studs and still keep it looking professional but fabulous. I think this season collection has a great mix for everyone, as not everyone can wear a massive heel so you could always go for their block ballerina shoe! Giving a whole new twist to the ballerina flats.
These biker boots are even nicer in real life, I love the strap detail.
If you are heel addicted, than you have a great choice as they had some lovely wedge suede ankle boots. So that when those cold winter morning come back, you can grab your coffee in style and not have to worry about falling on the icy pavement -I know the woes of girls who love heels in winter, you are a brave bunch and you don't deserve to be bruised because you love a heel.
If your not a heel girl, than I think the biker is perfect it's boot that never really goes out of style. Plus you can easily wear it now, with a tea dress at a festival you will have the perfect edgy girly look down.
These are their stunning embellished range, you have detailed flats for day and these strappy sandals for night (or day) that I think even Carrie Bradshaw would have given a seal of approval - I know she's not real, but come on if she was she would be rocking those electric blue pair to meet Mr Big! They are so elegant, sometimes with embellished sandals you can look like an extra on 'come strictly dancing', but these are classic. I think if you have a wedding to go too, these could dress up a something you have already and give you that 'party at my feet' feel.
Thank you to Amy (you legend) and the Dune team, I adore this collection and I think the boots are a great investment pieces as they can be worn now which is perfect. Most of this collection is now on their site, and the rest will be online and in store soon.
