Fake It Baby

'inspired' Jeffery Campbell shoes: Ebay

Yes I cracked and got a pair of fake Litas, trust me if I had the money I would get the real thing but I can't. I hate that you feel you have to miss out because something has a stupid price tag, so why not buy fake. My footwear at the moment has to be kid friendly, as what with a three week old (Logan) and my two year old son Corben I'm on my feet a lot and running around the hues in heels is tricky. I do adore a pair of heels, and will have to wear these even if it is just over Tesco to do the weekly shop.
Of course they are not the same quality, but I don't expect them to be for £20 off EBay! Anyway I love them and they fit well, they will be great for throwing on every now and than. I'm thinking of saving (yep it's going to take a while) for a real pair of the Jeffrey Campbell, as there are some amazing styles. Also it seems the high street is now a wash with 'inspired' Jeffery Campbell's, as with most things it's the nature of fashion.

Would you buy fake or real?

  5. If you can't tell the difference then why not fake it.

I would never have guessed they were fakes unless you said.

  6. Kind of loving all the fake type stuff out there at the moment. I'm sorely tempted by the Missguided Lita-style shoes and they have some gorgeous shoe boot things that look 'inspired' by something. If you can't afford the real thing, I reckon it's great to be able to enjoy a bit of whatever the current lust is, for a bit less, then move on without having spent a small fortune when something else comes around- as it inevitably does.

  8. They're nice! I bought a real pair, mainly for the platform on them because they're the biggest I've found compared to fakes. As long as you can walk in the fakes though your set! What colour would you buy in a real pair if you did?

  14. I love these bad boys. I actually would buy the real ones but I want the distressed leather style and can't find them ANYWHERE ... so in the end I decided to buy a faux pair off of Missgudied (i wore them today when I saw you) ... and i love them so much I just ordered them in tan leather too haha xx
