These photos are C/O Clare from Rainbows & Fairydust
we both got a snap with Rochelle from Tesco Lifestyled

Sorry for the lack of posts, blogger has been down (as you may know) anyway so here is the fab event Clare invited me too. Yes the Tesco A/W preview, I have to say the thought of winter and cold turns my stomach but this collection changed that. I can't wait till it gets chilly so I can head to Tesco and stock up, the coats and bags were my highlight from the womens wear. I will be posting the mens wear, children's wear and lingere tomorrow, as they have some great pieces in those too. As always Clare looked amazing, in her lush vintage dress I always love her mix of pattern and colour in her outfits and we both were enjoying are drink mixer as we were about to head in ..........

Me and Clare didn't know where to begin to be honest, I loved all the different colour themes I think there was something for everyone. Lots of different cuts that will suit different body shapes, but as Clare pointed out in the catwalk show there was a lack of any curve model. Which was a shame, I think after seeing them at the look show and that Tesco's is meant for every women it didn't feel right either with such a  strong collection.

Later we bumped into the fabulous Lily and Gem, it was so good to see them again it's been forever and me and Gem were talking about tips (check out both their blog's AMAZING!) I have a heap I said to her so except a 7 page email soon Gem. They were interviewed for Radio 1 just before the event, so random! Haha ... I loved Lily's Topshop dress, and Gem was rocking glitter nails and a fab shirt dress.
Anyway we all were sharing our fave pieces, I think we all loved the Love Milly concession with it's polka dots and cute prints and we all enjoyed the  mini Macaroons (well tasty).

This F&F dress is just too cute!

Aww this is Josh and Ilana from we are social, who were so lovely to talk too they asked about what we thought of the show and what we liked ....I think the question should have been what's not to like! Seriously going to be broke come A/W.

I think out of everything, I could have easy tried to run out of the room with this dress.
The bird print is stunning.

We were given a gorgeous hat which I will wear in an outfit post soon, I had an amazing time thanks to Clare, Gem and Lily. I think Tesco did a great job, and I will be hitting Clothing at Tesco online as soon as their A/W goes live it was bright, fun quirky with lots of classics to keep everyone happy.
With price points at £16 for a dress, £40 for gorgeous tailored jacket and knits starting from £16 we will all be stylish and warm this winter, also fab footwear with boots for under £20 !!
I also took a video of the catwalk show that I need to edit, I will try and post it up soon.

Thank you again Clare you are such a doll xxxxxxx
Check out her blog Rainbow & Fairy dust for more photos and her amazing outfits!

  1. Oooh nice post - I'm jealous! Everyone looks like they're having a nice time, and very ooh-la-la-lush!

I LOVE the black and white printed dresses (and is one of them a shirt)? Mmm Tesco's have really been stepping it up lately! Shame about the lack of curves though! I don't get why most places still use thin models when the average sized woman in the UK is a 16, no? Wouldn't you want to target your range at the biggest amount of people first? Ah well! xx

  6. There's quite a few things there I can anticipate throwing in my trolley. I love the bird print.

I was starting knitting my AW11 collection yesterday so I'm way behind Tesco.
