Back On You Tube

Trying to make some You Tube videos again, as some times it's easier to make a video than to write a post regards hauls. At the same time, You Tube scares me, people seem to feel you own them. If you don't make a video than your an ungrateful,  horrible, rude person. It's a little surreal, I'm not a guru and don't have a massive following but have still had really nasty comments from people. I think you have remind yourself that it's up to you, if you feel like making a video than do it. I like to make them, for the generally lovely people who like them and don't demand them.

It saddens me, to see fellow blog friends (or anyone) receive such hate just because they have not made a video. I'm enjoying finding new You Tubers to watch, I love a good haul, or D.I.Y so if you have You Tube please leave me your link so I can add you. Let me know if there's any videos you would like to see, as to be honest I'm clueless with ideas. I may update my twitter tag video (this was a tag I made up, because it wanted one for everyone and anyone). Check it out, it's pretty funny I'm using a better camera now, so at less you can see things clearly now. Anyway what do you think of blogs vs You Tube? Do you feel they are massively different or very similar? Would love to know.

Charity Shop Haul

I made this haul video a little while ago, I'm getting back into making my Youtube videos again. There not the best, but I enjoy them and I love to see other peoples. So if you have a Youtube channel and have hauls etc please leave me a link in the comments they are my guilty pleasure. Anyway here is my charity shop haul, I have more to show you as I went on another trip there the other day (so much for having a break from them oh well).

Chocolate on cheeks: Corben's own
Corben's top: Primark
My Top: H&M
Necklace: Primark
I don't know why the sound is so tinny, I am sorry I know it's rubbish. Will double check it next time, drives me mad anyway hope you enjoy the video. I have also given Corben a haircut since this video, I like it long on him but got fed up of people thinking he was a girl, poor thing. What have you been buying?

Red & Blue: Haul

Bags & Necklace: Charity shop

I had a result in the charity shop the other day when I picked up these two bags, looking at my bag collection I noticed that I have no blue bags mainly just brown or black. So when I spotted these I grabbed them, the spotty one was £2.50 and the other was £3/4 (not sure) than I saw this necklace which is glass and snapped that up too. The satchel had tissue in and never been used, it's also really leather so I know it's worth more than the £3/4 quid I paid for it. it has a tag so I need to google and find out more about it, anyway I adore it and Trish my mate wants to steal it from me.

Bag: H&M
Boots: Charity shop

How cute is this knitted scarf, I was lucky enough to win it from Sarah who is the beauty and brains of Temporary Secretary (thee most amazing shop). It's long and chunky and I'm going to wear it this week, because it is bloody cold in London. Oh I got the shoes from the charity shop also, found them in the bargain bin for £2.95 they are brand new and had a sale sticker inside marked at £15 pounds. The red bag is from H&M, Barry got me it for Christmas and I love it the detailed handle is so cute and I have room for all the kids crap ...Nappies etc ...

I still have birthday gift vouchers, so going to see what they have and treat myself it's tricky still because the baby weight is going so my size is changing. I just want to shop, I have not been on a real shopping trip in forever. I bet I won't see anything, it's always my luck that I see lush things when I have zero money! Oh well, if I find anything I will share with you.

In The Bag

January has been a busy month, I turned 29 and had a baby which I can safely say will be a one off. Oh I'm so lame but I was well excited to see that in this months Company magazine, they featured my tweet (total geek girl moment) yeah I'm Law1sfab. Yes I am das uber geek! My mum even got a extra copy, just for my tweet ha ha we are so cool that way. My to do list is piling up, I have like a billion D.I.Y's I want to do and a heap of posts to write. I never realised that my blog really is my other baby, I'm so proud of how far it's came and again can't thank you all for reading, commenting and just always supporting me.

I have like a billion little things to share, I swear once I get a second to inhale I will pick up a camera and start snapping. I need to get back in the blog/ life balance, it's tricky but I know I will get there. Anyway here are some things I got for Christmas and my birthday, I have some shoes I have to show you and also all my new necklaces etc. Like I say I will have haul posts coming and fingers crossed my D.I.Y's, and even some outfit posts (oh la la). So anyway ....

My new favourite ring:
How amazing is this ring, it's a double ring which is tricky to wear but I love it. It's so cute and kooky, I am looking forward to wearing it now my fingers are not all puffy (pregnancy fingers are not fun).
I adore these two nail polishes, the Revlon one I won from Navilicious Beauty giveaway which is scented you need about three coats but it's such a great colour. The other I got off EBay, everyone has OPI Rainbow Connection so I wanted a glitter polish that was different. I found this one and had to get it, it was like £1.80! Love it.

My new iPhone case:
I have wanted one of these forever and when Barry upgraded my phone, I could finally buy one. I got him off EBay and I also have a white one, and a bear one haha yep you could say I like them. I think it's so cute and I have had a heap of people ask where I got it from, plus it's a really good case easy to put on and protective (which is why you buy on in the first place).

Gifts I got for Christmas:
My friend got me both of these for Christmas which was so sweet, I will do a post on the Fearne Cotton makeup (with swatches) and let you know what it's like. She also got me Gingerbread girl by Philosophy, which I just want to eat! It smells like Christmas in a bottle and it leaves your skin so soft so utter winner. I really love the packaging on both too, yes I'm simple. Anyway these are just some of the lovely things that I'm using and looking forward to wearing and trying.

Like I said got a heap more stuff to share, so I will do a haul post soon I think as it's all a bit random and if I can I will try and upload a You Tube video. I have missed doing my You Tube videos, as it's always fun to make them and also you can see things better in a video.

More December Haul ......

So yes, yes I have been to the charity shop again, I know it's bad because it's not like I didn't get any presents for Christmas (this was just before Christmas when I had got all my presents for people). I think it's because I only have a few weeks to go before baby is due, I'm bored everyone (my chum's) bless them are all having to work so it's keeping me busy.

My local Sue Ryder shop is a little gold mine I swear, I wanted a bowl for Barry (my bloke) as he also puts his things in the same place but never can seem to find his essentials before he sets off for his day. So I though that having a bowl to dump, put these things in would take a little stress out of the morning for him. I found these two blue bowls priced at £1.50 each, so was well happy as now I have one for my crap things. I also got these two necklaces, I'm into big pieces at the moment and I love anything tribal (getting set for SS 2012).

Blue glass bowls £1.50
Necklaces: £2.50 each

Mary Katrantzou style, printed vintage skirt

I think after seeing all the press days, my head has been swimming with spring summer so I was on a hunt for print. I really adore both the skirts I found, the top one is vintage and has a very Mary Katrantzou feel (I think this will be a huge look on the high street come summer) to it I also adore this multi coloured cardigan with the cute button detail. I wanted more green in my wardrobe, so on my 'find green' contained quest I found another cute cardigan simple but will be great on warm summer nights. Lastly a little out there is this Morgan skirt, usual I hate this brand but I love, love this print anything pink with a crazy print appeals to my crazier side. Of course these will look better in outfits, I have ideas already about what I will team them with come Summer ...Yes I know it's winter but I have a baby bump! So of course I'm going to buy for when I will be back happy, in my clothing I'm in no rush to diet or anything so fingers crossed the skirts will fit. Anyway everything came to £20 squid so I was well happy.

Anyway am I the only one already buying pieces for SS 2012 ....I blame my hormones if anyone asks.

December Haul: New Look & Charity Shop

Shoes:  Both New Look Leopard courts £12.99
Green ballet pumps £7.99

As I only have a few weeks left before baby arrives, I can't do much I can't go far or really commit to much so it's been a bit pants. I want to take Corbie (my 2 yr old) out more, see friends and just have some fun again without thinking ' have my waters just broke'. So I more than welcomed the other day, when Barry (my bloke) and my mum gave me a treat day. Like I said in my other post my mum took Corben out for a treat, and her and Barry gave me some money to get something nice with. I got a new lippy from Mac (I will show you in another post), and some bits and bobs but I just couldn't see anything amazing.

I'm not feeling clothing shopping at the moment, which is crazy because trust me I can always find something. Instead I have gone back to buying shoes, lots and lots of shoes they fit and I can wear them now. I got these gorgeous Leopard print court shoes from New Look, than I had to HAD to get these green flats. New look have massive discounts on most of their shoes, so you really could go crazy and buy heaps for under a £100 pounds easy. I was good and decided that these were enough for now, plus I already got a heap from the charity shop the other day .........

Yes here is my charity shop haul, this is just a small one .. Yes I'm that bad, I adore the hunting of it all I think it takes time and effort and is helping take my mind off pain, tidying up and other crap. Believe it or not, all the shoes were only £2.95 each! They were in the bargain bin and I snatched them up, after a spray and a wipe I adore them. The sandals I will put away, as tribal is back for another season these will be perfect to go with prints. I love the granny blue ones, and the red suede boots look really cool on I'm planning on studding the cream New Look ones.

So yeah I have racked up, a total of six pairs of shoes in less than a week. I did fine some cute jumpers, the first was this grey one I really like the little flower details and think that my leather look biker waistcoat will give it more edgy. I got this batwing stripped jumper and this stunning vintage bag, the bag cost £3 and I love the clasp on it it's a granny bag but again it's classic and I love it. Lastly was this checked tunic, I wanted this years ago when it was in Primark but it had sold out in my size so I had to get it. I'm like that if I see something I love and can't get it, I always end up finding it years later. So yeah was happy with my finds and I'm sure I will be going back later this week for a look ...It's addictive.

I was really shocked when my mum said her friend got me a present, and my mum handed me this Accessorize makeup kit. It's so sweet of her and I really wasn't excepting anything, a couple of my friends have sent me things too as they know I have been having a tough pregnancy. It really, really cheered me up as people always forget you when you have a kid or baby. Not that I mind, it's just usual that's all people focus on and you got forgotten about. So it has been more than welcome that peeps have been so kind to me.

Happiness Is In The bag

Bag: Charity shop

Happy Monday, well it was for me (kind of) apart from smashing my guitar hero game disk as barry's candle decided to jump off his shelf on to it I was having a great one. Geri and Con came round two of my besties who I have not seen in forever, we had a laugh watching You Tube Charlie Sheen song (Yes I will learn all the words) and had take out and chatted. So it has been a nice Monday, I always feel normal agin once I have had a chat and a laugh with them anyway ......

Look at this little treasure that I found behind some fake designer bags in the charity shop the other day, I had to break my shopping ban I know, I know I was doing so well. I had just gone in to get some books for Corben, well the shopping ban is more my stuff not going to stop treating him to the odd thing. Anyway it was a mere £2.95 !! I think it's my perfect summer bag, I love the way it buckles and it's many pockets inside.  So that made my week.

I need to really start clearing stuff out sharpish, I may have a blog sale let me know if you would like this or not. I'm also going to give a lot to charity shops, as they are in really need of clothing and stuff the birth of EBay has made it hard on them and as peoples money is getting tighter more and more people are shopping so stock is flying out. So why not make a mini pile to take to your one, I know mine will me happy I have a lot .......Also they have a lot of summer stuff at the moment as everyone is buying new for their holidays, so snap it up.

So I will have the Very press day part 2 up soon and my first pregnancy diary post (including my first scan photo) , I also have some great SOS posts for mum's too be so stay tuned.

H&M Homeware Collection 2010

Untitled

So if you read this post you will have seen some of this collection, and you all loved it. Well now H&M have it within a store near you I hope, you can still order it online if you don't have one. So on the Thursday when I went to the launch of Vero Moda at Oxford Circus, I could not resist going into see the new refit on the H&M Oxford Street store. It looks amazing, has anyone else seen it yet?  The displays are lush and the clothing is set out in this new open clean interior. I could only get a few pictures, and I could not photography in store as I did not have permission (you know me, I'm not cheeky). So after picking up some 'must Have' clothing, I just got them because I liked them ...I headed up to the home ware selection.

When you go into shop from the homeware selection you are met with a wall full of magnets, you take your magnet shopping trolley (a huge magnet with a shopping trolley picture on it) you shop the pictures of the collection, than hand it to a sales advisor and they grab it all for you could it be any easier I think not. I love the item of the magnets because you can see and arrange your items, they also have the homeware display out so you can really see what you are getting. I got a huge towel while I was there which was only £2:99, which I think is stylish and well priced. Anyway here are some of the window displays and pictures from there home ware booklet. Grazia also did an great feature on it and had these cool images below, check it out:

Vero Moda Launch @ Oxford Street

Blazer: Tesco
Demin shirt: Tesco
Zip skirt: Topshop
Pumps: Topshop
Necklace: Primark
Belt: Vintage

So First of all Happy 18TH Birthday to the lovely Caroline over at Ergy Erg. Also it was Winnie's birthday too at Diamond Canopy this week as well so go leave some love for them. So Thursday saw the launch of the new Vero Moda store, I was lucky enough to win one of their many TWITTER prizes of a gold bag. The gold bag meant that on the day of the launch I could select a free outfit, this could include either a top or dress, with a bottom and outerwear. So I was more than over the moon, as you know things have been tough for me at the moment. So it was great to go to a fun event, and even better that I would be getting a whole free outfit.

So the launch was a amazing there were hunky guys handing out sweeties and they had a DJ banging out some tunes. I was so impressed at the staff, not only were they helpful the shop floor recover was quick so the store was pretty tidy (it was mental, so many people). My aunt had come from Kent to see my mother and stay with me, she come to the launch and bagged a sliver bag outside the store. Which meant she could buy one, get one free ( you got the cheapest free), so she was really pleased.

A lot had already gone, so the stuff that was on my list got scrapped. I did get three fab things, the first is this killer biker jacket. The second are these great shorts that look like a skirt and the last thing was this gorgeous dress (very Lanvin style) which I'm going to wear for any parties around Christmas. also meet a couple of people off twitter and blogspot, the lovely Kellie (Big Fashionista) who has this amazing blog.

The lovely ladies handing out the Vero Moda post, full of inspiring outfits and all the excitement happening in store. I am loving there Vero Moda avatar jackets too. There were huge balloons that popped and released loads of sliver tickets with buy one get one free. You can currently buy Vero Moda online UK at ASOS .com, they also have a facebook page and their own blog.

They will be launching the UK online store soon. It was a great day I also went to H&M to see the brand new home collection up and close, so will show you in my next blog post. Thank you for all your feedback and welcome to new followers, you lot blow my mind. Thank you my darlings you are the best, need to catch up with all your new post's. Sorry that I am here and there, I have a heap going on, so I will try and keep this current and get back to you. Lush Haul: Gingerbread House, Christmas Eve & More

So as you know I spent four years working for Lush, and left because of a person who was Evil and made it hell to work there any longer. My wonderful boyfriend dragged me into the Regent St branch, where I had once worked . He said that it reminded him of when we were first together, and he wanted to get some 'Karma' bubbles. So I took a breath and headed in, and rather than thinking of Mr Evil, I was suddenly had a flood of great memories with the great people I worked with, and who I am friends with still.

So I have put it behind me, after all I met one of my best friends working there and I am great friends with many others still. You will always have good and bad people, the trick is to remember the times with the good people. So I have got back into Lush products and love chatting with all the lovely new staff at Regent St, I can enjoy the products without that sick feeling and relax. What is your all time favourite Lush product and why?

Anyway on to my thoughts about my Lush mini haul, want to get and want to forget:

First up is The gingerbread house, It's a bubble bar so you just crumble it under the 'HOT' running tap, this will help release the oils (so always the hot) so this one is spicy. It has ginger in which is my favourite, it warms the bones I think so good if you have been running around. Like all Lush bubbles it is really creamy, great for dry skin. I did enjoy this one, and it will be great come Christmas. It is a ginger smell so not great before a night out, unless you want to smell like a biscuit use it after a long week when you want to relax.

Mrs Whippy, this is a ballistic so you just drop it in when your in the bath, it frizzed into a creamy frothy milk (it disappears into the bath after a good while) it took a while so I could feel it really soaking in to my skin. If you like The Comforter bubble bar it has a similar smell, if you are hardcore Lush you may recall 'Black Pearl' and again it has that blackcurrant, strawberry smell. I did like this but it took a while to fizz and if you don't have time to soak in the tub it could be a waste. This is great if you like sweet long baths.

Christmas Eve, This was the best one, the smell was amazing and during the day after my morning bath I kept smelling my arm as it was so good. This is a bubble bar with Jasmine, ylang ylang  and Irish moss power so the bubbles were thick and creamy and smelt so dreamy. As the water turned blue I stepped into the bath and really did not want to get out, it was the most relaxing bath I have had in forever. Also I only used half (sometimes I use a whole one for a really must relax bath) and it felt like I had used a full one. The bubbles lasted until I got out which was well over 35 mins. This is my must buy for anyone feeling crappy and stressed, the smell is so feminine and my boyfriend loved it.

Godmother & Angels Delight
Than I got two soaps, there is Angels Delight which is very old skool if you like Snow Fairy you will love it. It smells like candy in a bar, I always think its like washing yourself with bubble gum check out the New Snow Fairy lip balm. I also got Godmother which is one of the newest soaps I have ever had from Lush, this was made to smell like Snow fairy but I think it has a earthy tone to it I like the fact that it does not dry out my skin and the scent is long lasting on the skin.

Lastly is my fab New lip tint Snow Fairy, it has shea butter in which is the best natural moisturiser I find if you heat it by circular motions with your finger tip than applying it glades on. It tastes of raspberry and it has a cute pink tint, it is not a deep tint more of a pink shimmer (I can post lip pictures if you like) but they have a wide range so have a look. I really want the Maple Taffy one, luck for us the lovely Cowbiscuits is doing a fab giveaway which includes the new Taffy lip balm. So check out her fab blog.

Thank you for all your amazing comments, you guys and gals make my day. I know that sounds corny but I don't care you lot rock and thank you for all your support. Let me know what clothing buys you are struggling with, anything you need help finding?
Let me know. One last think also check out the lovely Sammi's blog, as she is also having a great giveaway Sammi In Wonderland.
