Street Style| LFW September 2016

I know, I know London Fashion Week was ages again, but as everyone and their cat was blogging about it. I thought I would leave it a little while, before sharing my street style snaps this season. I was going to do the whole week, apply for shows and run myself ragged as last season I had the viral plague and didn't even manage a day. But than I thought about the last time I was rushing around, and as amazing as it was to see designers and their insane collections. I just couldn't face the exhaustion, that goes hand in hand with the week. Instead I didn't apply for anything and decided that rather than working, I would go for one day and enjoy it.

Street Style: London Fashion Week A/W 14

In true London style the first day of fashion week was met with rain, wind and more rain. So for those brave enough to walk the cobbles, I took photos of the outfits that stood out the most which is not easy when your battling against wind, rain and a sea of umbrellas. As it was Valentines, red seemed to be the colour of the day or maybe it just stood out more to me. Pastel blues were also popular, and like me (living for the faux fur) everyone is embracing their inner fluffy monster and wearing chunky collars and multi coloured coats.

I'm glad to see people embracing trainers more also there cobble approve, they can give a tailored outfit some really edgy and grit. The live shows were streamed up on the big screen, so at least while huddled under brolly's we could take in what was in store for Autumn Winter. There is a real mix bag this year, some designers have kept to bright colours and crisp whites carrying through from summer. While other's have gone for relaxed over sized tailoring in dark greens and browns, and big shaggy gilet and coats.

I think it can be hard to process the new trends now, as were not even in summer yet so that's why I enjoy the street style as it's fashion inspiration for now. I attended a show (more about that later this week) but had to call it a day on my others and head home it was just to cold. Considering how much it rained on Friday people still made an effort, and everyone took joy at being at shows not only for the collections but also the warmth. Today was not as bad, everyone seemed in a better mood and I have a heap more to share with you.

Street Style: London Fashion Week 002

Here's the second part of my street style at London Fashion Week feature, I really enjoy these and I hope you do too. Not only does Jaime (2) have one of my all time favourite blogs, but he also knows how to dress I love the trainers with his suit such a great mix. Some people tend to change their style just for fashion week, and that's why I adore Florrie (3), she is a Lolita and I wish there where more people like her at fashion week.

You could easily mistaken Lindsey (5) for being an off duty model, she has impeccable style and a heart of gold. I do love getting people together for a photo, so when I spotted  Cristian and Lucia (6) I had to get a photo both classic and but cool.

Day 4: London Fashion Week SS14

Shoes: Creepers
Bag & Necklace: Primark

This was my last day at London fashion week, and as I was so wiped out I wore my most casual outfit last. So it was time for hair buns, creepers and my palm print shirt to get those last street style snaps before it was over for me. It hardly rained and I loved that people had the same idea on the outfit front, everyone seems more exhausted relaxed too. So stay tuned as now I get to show you what everyone else was wearing, I'm more excited about that.

I wish I could be a street style photographer full time, I love the fact your documenting style. Also I tend to like styles that I think others don't get straight away, I lost count of the other photographers jumping in to get a shot of people I had spotted. It's all good at fashion week, I think there's a code that it's okay and that no one gets in the way of others (unless it's a celebrity than it's every photography for themselves).

Street Style: London Fashion Week 001

So this is the first of this seasons street style spotting at London Fashion week, so I warn you now there's more to come. I couldn't wait to show them, as the outfits I spotted were just beyond cool and have inspired me (which is why I adore street style). As you may spot  I snapped some amazing bloggers, like Megan (1) I adore her style as she has a Olsen vibe. Who could miss Pearl Westwood (2) in you guessed it Westwood, but how cool are her TK Maxx glitter boots!

Of course I had to feature one of my best mates Clare (3), I mean I can't think of anyone who could rock head to toe orange like she can. I love Lauren's (6) printed trousers and NY top, her look is relaxed but edgy. Sade's (7) blue tights were a welcome sight from the mass of black ones and I love her gold cat eye glasses, smart but cool. I adore Chelsea's (8) headdress with her stunning curly hair, her floral bomber and high waisted trousers are a great combo making her look tailored yet wearable.
