It's Friday! .... Fear not I'm not going to break out into that Rebecca Black song, as wonderful written as it is. Today it's raining and grim, but I'm actually in high spirits I won a ASOS twitter comp and they sent me some goodies. Also Fashion Union sent me this cool sweater and a stunning dress, so feeling rather spoilt this week. Whenever I hear the word 'Awesome' it reminds me of Janis Ian in Mean Girls, when she's mocking her friend for being fake. 'Did you have an awesome time? Did you drink awesome shooters, listen to awesome music, and then just sit around and soak up each others awesomeness? '

I've been feeling really drained this week, I think I've been over doing it so I picked rest over going to some events/press days. I think it's important to listen to your body, when I was in my early 20's I could push myself. Now I'm older and know that I can't always bounce back, it's best to do what you can and be healthy. Yes you may miss out sometimes, but you can't do everything. I'm sure once there is some sun in the sky, I'll be full of beans and be dashing around. But for now, I'm happy to just snuggle under a warm blanket with the kids, and be brain washed by overly enthusiastic presenters on kids TV. I'd love to know where their energy comes from, maybe they spend the rest of their time crying for hours in their bathroom while coming down off their red bull rush. Who knows ....
