I watched 500 Days Of Summer for the first time thee other night, I know, I know it's been out forever but I thought that it was a soppy film so avoided it. It was great to see something from a male point of view, Tom (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) is a hopeless romantic growing up on British music (Joy division etc...) and misunderstanding films his looking for the one. Tom like a lot of men fall's for a girl he believes is the one, while she has a different take on love and Tom end's up getting hurt. I think this has never been addressed before, it's always the women in the film who picks the wrong person, and has her heart crushed. I loved this so much because I think men need a voice too, it's like they never get heartbroken and are all cheats and liars in films and women need to see that we are just as guilty sometimes.
It also has the most amazing soundtrack featuring music from The Smiths and will have you running to iTunes (well clicking over not running). I think it's safe to say that the wardrobe for this film was great too, I am totally in love with Summer's (Zooey Deschanel) look and 60's style hair so I wanted to use it as inspiration. These are my 2011 S/S on Summer's style hope you like it.

Hello to all the new readers, and sorry for the lack of outfits I have been run down so once I'm feeling better than I will have some and a few reviews. Hope you are all well and how fast has this week gone, also a huge HAPPY BIRTHDAY to one of my best friends Trish I hope you had a great day and sorry I could not be there (she's an Aussie).
